CASSMAR-JETs Josua Miller Lecture

Dr. Miller obtained his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Rochester in 2008, researching high energy-density plasma physics. He joined Lockheed Martin Space Systems working in nonlinear analysis from 2007 until 2012, with major programs including the Orion crewed spacecraft and the JUNO, GRAIL, MAVEN and OSIRIS-REX robotic satellites. He currently works in the Hypervelocity Impact Technology group at NASA Johnson Space Center supporting survivability research for the International Space Station, Orion and Space Launch System Programs, as well as emerging commercial spaceflight providers. In January 2015, Dr. Miller joined UTEP as a CASSMAR researcher in its support of the NASA mission under the Jacobs-JETS contract.
